The Objects Toolbox is a floating panel that holds all media objects included with Dynamic Info Screen. Each media object is represented with its name and graphic symbol. There is also an info box at the bottom of the toolbox that shows the name and version of the selected object. This information may be useful for technical support.
You may notice that some objects appear greyed out so they are not available for inclusion into your info screen projects. There are two main reasons why an object may be unavailable. One is the missing hardware (e.g. web camera) and the other is the missing software (e.g. DirectX). By installing missing components onto your system you will automatically get access to depending objects in Dynamic Info Screen.
DirectX
Dynamic Info Screen uses DirectX (version 9 or later) for two of its objects: RSS/Text Horizontal Ticker and RSS/Text Vertical Scroll. Even if you have the latest version of DirectX it may happen that you do not have all its components so you will have to install it again. To install DirectX please visit the Download Center on the Microsoft's web site and look for DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer, or visit the Installing DirectX page within this help center. |
